Peter and Nga | A Love Story Across Time
As devoted admirers of love and all its enchanting moments, we've had the joy of witnessing countless breathtaking romances. Yet, every so often, a couple crosses our path whose love radiates a unique magic, leaving an indelible mark on everyone they meet. It was an absolute honour to celebrate the engagement of Peter and Nga, and now, we’re thrilled to share the spellbinding story of their love and proposal:
How did you and Nga meet, what defining moments in your relationship made you realise that they were the one? Would love to hear both sides of the story!
As fate would have it (we like to think), Peter and I have crossed paths many times throughout our lives, from primary school when we were only 10 to martial art classes then university. We officially became proper friends at Uni and began dating during the midst of COVID well after we had graduated.
Nga: The moment I knew Peter was the one was through his loving actions towards myself where he would always show he was caring/thinking of me and his relationship with his family. I found that very wholesome and something I value a lot.
Peter: The moment I knew Nga was the one, was seeing how supportive she was during difficult periods of my life and always encouraging me to pursue my goals and dreams.
What traits do you both appreciate most in each other?
Nga: I appreciate everything about Peter. He is such an intelligent man and is always so thoughtful at everything he does. He never fails to bring joy into my life.
Peter: Nga has such a loving soul and always puts the people she loves first. I love that trait about her. She always lights up the room and brings happiness to my life.
We've heard all about it in store but tell us again about your romantic proposal that Peter so thoughtfully planned!
We both had organized a short weekend getaway over the King's birthday long weekend. Little did I know, Peter had planned the most beautiful proposal set up with the help of the Sequoia team, overlooking the Adelaide Hills. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at the proposal site before checking into our room at Sequoia. It was such a memorable weekend that I will never forget. I could not stop admiring the ring and had butterflies all night. He couldn't have planned it any more perfectly.
We love how much thought and effort Peter went into designing your gorgeous engagement ring, tell us about your experience with The Classic Jewellers and any tips you have for couples searching for their engagement rings?
My experience with The Classic Jewellers couldn't have been any smoother. Jess was very helpful throughout the process and answered all my questions with patience and care. She was professional and assisted my every need. I am so happy with the ring we designed together and would highly recommend their service to everyone. No question was too difficult for Jess and the team.
What are you both looking forward to in your new chapter together?
We both are looking forward to our wedding and getting married! Travelling will be first on the agenda before settling down and creating our own little family together.
